iDL's founder, Chairman, and Chief Pedagogical Officer, Dr. Nishikant Sonwalkar, is presently the Principal Educational Architect at the Educational Media Creation Center at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At MIT, he serves as the pedagogical advisor to web-based educational experiments and projects. Dr. Sonwalkar is regarded as a leading expert in the application of computers in education. He has extensive research and development experience in hypermedia authoring, advanced scientific visualization, database management systems, and computer simulation.
