Dr. Sonwalkar is the Founder and Chairman of the company Intelligent Distance Learning Systems, Inc. (IDL Systems) and has a unique background in the use of computers in education that ensures IDL's software remains at the forefront of technology-assisted learning.
In his former role as Director of the Hypermedia Teaching Facility at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Dr. Sonwalkar developed several educational technologies. He is the Principal Educational Architect at the Educational Media Creation Center at MIT and serves as pedagogical advisor to web-based educational experiments and projects. Dr. Sonwalkar has extensive research and development experience in hypermedia authoring and advanced scientific visualization. He has published numerous articles and is widely regarded as a leading expert in the application of computers in education.

You have the choice to decide which sessions are of interest to you. We of course encourage you to attend the whole series but if your schedule does not permit it then simply check off the boxes next to the topics that spark your interest when you are registering for a session.
The Webinar sessions are going to be held through the Webex program. Webex is a software-as-a-service application provider for collaborative business on the web. The requirements for using this program are:
Each session will last approximately 30 minutes with a 15 minute interactive question and answer session to follow.
The program is broken up so that the first 30 minutes is a discussion held by Dr. Sonwalkar and the last 15 minutes are an interactive question and answer session. To ask a question you must use the chat messaging capabilities through the Webex program.
The series will give you an understanding of the technology paradigm shift that the educational community is experiencing today. Our featured speaker, Dr. Sonwalkar, will discuss a pedagogical solution that adjusts to the paradigm shift.
